Michelle is a DONA Trained Birth Doula with experience supporting families during labor and birth. She brings a sense of calm and peace to each birth she attends. With her own experience of 3 natural births and 8 years of teaching Prenatal Yoga, she has become a true birth advocate. She has experience with hospital, birth center and home births. Baby Saul's Birth - One birth Michelle attended as a Doula was a homebirth that ended up being an unplanned, unassisted homebirth. Baby Saul decided to enter the world in a very big hurry, before the midwife and assistants could get there. With Michelle's reassurance, Mom and Dad stayed calm as Michelle helped Dad catch the baby and bring him into Mom's arms. Michelle helped Mom get comfortable in bed, and Mom and baby began bonding and nursing within minutes of birth. The midwife arrived, moments later, to find a healthy baby boy and a very happy mom and dad.
Michelle also takes photos at each birth to capture the amazing journey for each family.
